These should do nicely.

A bit far away though. I have no reason to go near Parry Sound at this time of year.

Bit pricey. Non-reconditioned, full on running gas wringer washers go in the 300-400 price range. I don’t think I’d go higher than 250 on just the motor in perfect shape.

Canuckistan dollars, so he’s asking about 490 USD for the pair. That’s a little lower than your 250. Still, I think I’m going to let these go. I was really looking for something cheaper in worse shape to restore.
You seem to know something about old engines thoguh, let me bounce a couple off you:

I know I've seen nice examples of the Fairbanks engine going for between 1000-1500CAD.

Nope, know very little about old engines...but I do know a bit about old wringer washers. Not a ton, but I’ve restored them as a hobby a couple times. You can get non-runners with all trim for barely over scrap price, fix them up, rust repair and re-paint to factory, then sell them to rich folks who like ‘country’ antiques for their ranch or whatever for 2-10k depending who’s looking at the time.
I’ve got a co-worker who restores antique engines though, if I run into him today I’ll see what he thinks.
